Leche Derramada

The glass chimed as
she brushed it over with glee.
Laughter poured and
beads of white dropped to the heavy oak.

A Northwest Summer

Sunlight blushed cheeks and
noses wrinkled with laughter.
Kitty fur brushed bare legs as
ice cubes clinked and smiles chimed.

Lady Kathryn Elizabeth

Little whiskers fluttered in the sunshine.
A fluffy striped tail flapped slowly to and fro.
Furry blush paws pattered through the blades,
dew drops finding home.

A pink button nose sniffed slowly through the air.
Amber eyes, lit with progress and imagination
as the branches creaked and
leaves slowly crackled beneath each
eight pound step.

White-dipped ears tipped and turned
as the music of the blue rang softly
in the midst of her buds and blooms,
and crisp, milky air.
